The Clear Lake Retreat

No hot tub Positive: Loved the property, location and convenience Negative: I booked this property based on the amenities it listed which included a hot tub. The host informed me after booking our two night stay that there was no hot tub at that time. :( bummer Had there been the working hot tub I would of given this place 5 stars on everything. :(

Quiet retreat Positive: Great location! Very comfortable home with plenty of room and a fabulous outdoor space. Very quiet. Great area to take a walk and enjoy the lake! Very responsive host ... when we had a question, he was quick to answer. Would definitely stay again.

Overall, it was amazing and will be visiting again. Positive: We loved how it felt secluded but in town still. It was overall comfortable and cozy/homey. The backyard was amazing in general, but even more so in the morning with the sunset. The pool table was my favorite part. Loved that it was pet friendly. Even with a minor setback, the owner came right away and fixed the issue. Hospitality was amazing. Anything we forgot to bring it was already here. There is a kwiktrip literally right down the street, which was very convenient. The owner was flexible with me on when i could check in and out, which was awesome. Negative: I didn't like the road that led you here. It's a gravel road and a lot of pot holes. I also wasn't fond of the bathroom. It was on the smaller side.As well as the grill not igniting for us, which was a bummer and couldn't figure it out.

We had a lovely few days staying at this property in July. Positive: The location of the property was excellent, and although not situated directly on the lake, there is access to the lake and a private jetty through a neighbour's garden. The accommodation is beautifully decorated and it was an absolute pleasure to stay there.
